DVT Assistans has been working since 2005 to create everyday flow for both our clients and our assistants. We do this by offering personal assistance built on commitment, respect, and care - something that makes a real difference for clients, families, and our employees alike. We are an employer that values our staff. With us, you work under safe and good working conditions, with a collective agreement, occupational pension, and wellness allowance as a natural part of your employment. For us, it's important that you as an assistant feel valued, secure, and included. Our core values - Participation, Dignity, and Accessibility - permeate the entire organization and are a living part of our daily work. Today, DVT Assistans employs approximately 350 personal assistants. With us, you get more than a job - you get the world's most important work, where you have the opportunity every day to make a real difference in another person's life. For you to be suitable as my assistant, you need to have a driver's license and a car, and you also need to be able to take me to your home. Therefore, you need to live in or at most one mile from Katrineholm. You need to be a calm and trustworthy woman... I am a 29-year-old woman with cerebral palsy and intellectual disability. I need a lot of help and support in my daily life. I can walk, but have poor balance. Therefore, I also have a wheelchair for longer walks. This also means I have difficulty climbing stairs. If you live on the second floor or higher, there needs to be an elevator. I don't speak, but I use sounds, facial expressions, and certain signs to help with communication. However, I understand quite a lot of what you say to me. I'm usually very happy. I like doing activities, for example bowling, swimming, having coffee, and spending time at your home. During the day I attend a day program, but I need an assistant to take care of me after that. I live at home with my parents, but we can't be there because then I completely ignore you and want to hang out with my mom instead. On Mondays we go horseback riding, so it would be great if you're comfortable with horses and absolutely not allergic or afraid. The employment rate is 70% and working hours are on a two-week rotating schedule: Week 1: Mon 15-17:30 Tue 15-19 Wed 15-19 Thu 15-19 Sat 8:30-19 Sun 8:30-19 Week 2: Mon 15-17:30 Tue 15-19 Wed 15-19 Thu 15-19 Fri 15-20 We want you to submit a personal letter where you tell us where you live, a bit about yourself, and how you think you would be suited for the job. We also want your CV and references.
