A large part of the work takes place in a preschool environment. He enjoys being outdoors and playing, swinging, jumping on a trampoline and sledding in winter. He is also very interested in cars and other vehicles.
Working hours are mainly scheduled daytime between 09.00-16.00 and every other Saturday 10.00-18.00. Working hours may vary based on the individual's needs.
The position is 91.22%. You have the right to work up to full-time within other departments in the Disability Sector based on operational needs and in dialogue with you as an employee. A probationary period may be applied and start date is by agreement.
Your new job
As a personal assistant, you work closely with a child with a disability and provide individually tailored support based on the child's needs, abilities and circumstances. The role involves independent work while simultaneously collaborating closely with other important people in the child's life.
A large part of working time is allocated to preschool, where you support the child in daily routines as well as play, learning and social activities. The tasks are varied and include personal care, such as assistance with personal hygiene, tube feeding and oxygen management, as well as support with transfers and participation in various activities.
In this role, you collaborate with preschool staff, child rehabilitation services and the child's guardians to create the best possible conditions for development, participation and well-being. The work can be physically demanding and includes, for example, lifting and transferring to and from strollers and other assistive devices. Therefore, it is important that you have good physical ability. Documentation is an important part of our work that we are required to perform by law. We therefore see that you have good computer skills and the ability to express yourself well in writing.
