The position is a permanent employment at 50%, with a trial period possible. We are also seeking hourly substitutes as needed. Job Duties You will work together with a team of experienced assistants. The man you assist describes himself as a social and humble person with a great sense of humor and a twinkle in his eye. He appreciates a good atmosphere in daily life, has good cognitive abilities, and expresses himself independently. Since the man has a vision and hearing impairment, your communication will take place through hand signing and haptic signals. This is a unique skill that you will learn thoroughly through safe on-site training. Previous experience is advantageous, but your commitment and attitude are most important! The work involves: Supporting the man in his daily life with a positive and committed approach. Serving as his extended senses by conveying visual and auditory impressions. Assisting with simple household tasks. Accompanying him as support during activities, trips, and errands. Working hours are scheduled during daytime and weekends. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, and considerate. You have a calm demeanor, take responsibility, and contribute to a good work environment. You speak and write Swedish fluently so you can convey impressions from the surroundings. B driver's license is required. Meritorious: Experience with LSS or personal assistance. Previous knowledge of sign communication/haptics. Conditions An extract from the police's criminal record register is required before employment. We warmly welcome your application!
