We are looking for you to work as a substitute personal assistant for a 13-year-old boy with autism in Täby. About the Role We are seeking a trustworthy, responsible, and dedicated personal assistant for a boy with autism and extensive support needs. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of his daily life and help him achieve a safe and meaningful existence. The work is based on his individual needs and involves being readily available to provide support and assistance with personal care and daily routines, helping with meals via feeding tube, transfers, and other practical tasks. The work is scheduled on weekdays and evenings. Who You Are You are professional, have good judgment, and can set boundaries. You are empathetic and use low-arousal approaches in your interactions. The work requires you to have patience and be able to adapt your communication and approach based on the situation. You are secure, trustworthy, and understand the importance of being a positive adult role model. You can work independently and take initiative. You must be able to read, write, and speak Swedish, as the client's communication is limited. Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and other functional variations is a requirement.
