Are you the assistant I'm looking for? Hourly substitute position that could lead to a permanent job after the summer. Hi! I'm a boy almost 4 years old, living in Gävle with my mom, dad, and older sister. I was born with brain damage, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy, which means I need assistance around the clock. My assistants work different shifts—either morning, afternoon, or night watch. I'm very kind and easygoing; many people say I'm a real charmer. I'm usually at home during the day since I have many assistive devices I need to be near. But sometime during the day, I'd like to take a walk in my stroller, so whoever works with me should enjoy that too. Singing and music are also a big part of my everyday life—I love when my assistants sing to me, and it's fun when they share themselves. When I'm not at home, I'm probably at the hospital. I'm usually there a few days each month, sometimes more and sometimes less. This means the workplace is wherever I am. I want whoever works with me to be kind, respectful of the fact that everyone can be different, and it would be good if you have experience with epilepsy. It's important that you're attentive, because it's still my mom and dad who make decisions for me (at least until I'm 18, they say...). You must speak Swedish well, and I don't want you to smoke. I'm looking for assistants together with JA-assistans, a small company with about 15 clients. They have their office in Ockelbo. The pay is hourly according to industry standards. Overtime compensation, vacation, and other benefits/terms according to the collective agreement. Paid introduction begins by agreement.
