Are you the steady anchor in a world full of speed, excitement, and engines? We're looking for two personal assistants at approximately 30% - 80% in Piteå! We're now seeking two personal assistants for a life-loving, mischievous, and incredibly energetic boy who will soon turn 13. Here you'll get meaningful and dynamic work where no two days are the same! Who is our boy? He's a true outdoorsman who loves tinkering with engines, riding lawnmowers, and spending time in the forest and countryside. He also loves swimming (and is usually more underwater than above!), enjoys pulling pranks, and has a great sense of humor and zest for life. The Role and Challenge: Behind all that boundless energy is a complex daily life. He has moderate intellectual disability (ID), language disorder, autism, ADHD, as well as severe behavioral challenges and therapy-resistant epilepsy. We're looking for someone who can stay one step ahead, read subtle signals, and remain calm in all situations. Because he has a language disorder, you need to be patient and creative in how you communicate. We're looking for someone who has: - Documented experience with PBS (Positive Behavior Support) & LSB (Low-Arousal Approach). - Experience working with intellectual disability and language disorder. - Great patience, a calm demeanor, and the ability to set soft but clear boundaries. - An active lifestyle (you enjoy being outdoors in all weather and keeping up with the pace). - A valid driver's license and access to a car is a merit. It's a big plus if you: - Have experience with TAKK and AAC. - Have experience with epilepsy and acute medication. - Share his interest in mechanics/engines or simply aren't afraid to get a little grease on your hands!
