The Disability Care Services in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through proximity and interaction. Individuals under 65 years of age who have a functional disability and comprehensive support needs can apply for personal assistance. A personal assistant helps someone with basic needs, such as eating, dressing, washing, and communicating. The assistance is individually tailored and should provide increased opportunities for people with functional disabilities to live an independent life. We are now seeking personal assistants for a female client living in Sörfors. Your Work Tasks You will support and assist a woman with her daily activities and routines. The work takes place primarily in the home but also in other places where the client spends her everyday life. You contribute to creating structure and order by maintaining good routines. The work includes, among other things, care services, transfers, outdoor activities, and other household tasks as needed. You work according to established routines, are active in the development areas that are being carried out and planned. You will also handle some administrative tasks such as documentation. - Heavy lifting occurs; mobility aids must be used. - Working hours include day, evening, weekend, and on-call night shifts. About You As a personal assistant, you need to be attentive and empathetic, with the ability to prioritize the client's needs. You are responsible, reliable, and enjoy creating security and structure in everyday life. Flexibility and patience are important, as well as good collaboration skills and respectful conduct. The role often involves practical tasks, so thoroughness and a positive attitude toward helping where needed are valuable qualities. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements Class B driver's license and access to your own vehicle Fluent Swedish language skills in speech and writing Meritorious Trained nursing assistant, care aide, or other healthcare education Experience in care work We warmly welcome your application!
