About the Position Our client is a woman in her 50s living in her own apartment in Vaggeryd who needs assistance around the clock. As a personal assistant in this assignment, you will assist the client where her disability limits her in everyday life. Work tasks include personal care, household chores such as cooking and cleaning, support with communication and various types of everyday activities. She enjoys taking walks, listening to music, reading newspapers and going to regional dances. Heavy lifting occurs as our client uses a wheelchair. What Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is empathetic, clear, and who naturally inspires calm and security in the people you meet. You are confident in yourself, have the courage to take action when the situation requires it, and enjoy working in a structured manner. You are flexible and can step in at short notice, thorough, clear, and used to working both in a team and independently. We believe you have experience working as a personal assistant or similar within healthcare as well as lifting and transferring. Experience working with people with diabetes and low-arousal approach is a merit as there can be challenging workdays. We would like you to have some experience with visual supports as this is something we use. To be eligible for the position, you must have a good command of the Swedish language.
