About the Position Our client is a woman in her 50s living in her own apartment in Vaggeryd who needs assistance around the clock. As a personal assistant in this assignment, you will assist the client where her disability limits her in daily life. Work tasks include personal care, household chores such as cooking and cleaning, communication support and assistance with various everyday activities. She enjoys taking walks, listening to music, reading newspapers and going to county dances. Heavy lifting occurs as our client uses a wheelchair. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is empathetic, clear, and who naturally conveys calm and security to the people you meet. You are confident, can be firm when the situation requires it, and enjoy working in a structured manner. You are flexible and can step in on short notice, thorough, clear, and experienced in working both as part of a team and independently. We believe you have experience as a personal assistant or similar work in healthcare, as well as experience with lifting and transfers. Experience working with people with diabetes and low-arousal approach is advantageous as there can be challenging workdays. We would appreciate if you have some experience with picture support as this is something we use. To be considered for the position, you must have a good command of the Swedish language.
