About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to a smooth-running everyday life. Each assistance is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a 52-year-old woman who lives centrally in Norrtälje with her family. She has a muscular disease and needs support in her daily life. She enjoys getting out for coffee, taking walks around town, and listening to audiobooks. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of her daily life and help her do what she enjoys and participate in various activities. The work tasks involve providing support based on her individual needs and wishes, with a focus on safety, respect, and good service. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. For this position, you must have: good knowledge of Swedish good physical fitness to perform heavy lifting be a non-smoker (during work hours) For this position, it is advantageous if you: have experience with similar work share the client's interests Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly position," which means work as needed. Work shifts are scheduled during day and evening, between 08:00–14:00 or 14:00–20:00/21:00. For the right person, there is a possibility that the position may transition to permanent employment later on. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start Date: Immediately or by agreement.
