ELFA Assistans is seeking dedicated and responsible personal assistants for one of our clients – an 8-year-old girl who requires significant support and assistance. The work includes support with personal hygiene, training, meals, dressing and undressing.
We are looking for you who
• Are attentive, even to non-verbal communication, and have the ability to create a sense of security and well-being.
• Understand the importance of interaction and can engage the girl through singing, play, and fun.
• Are responsible and have a genuine commitment to helping others.
• Have experience in care and health services, as the work includes certain medical tasks.
• Are in good physical condition, since the work can be physically demanding and includes floor-level work, such as during training activities.
Working hours are primarily between 14:00 – 20:00 on weekdays and 09:00 – 17:00 on weekends. Flexibility regarding working hours during colleagues' sick leave or vacation is desirable.
We are seeking temporary staff, with the possibility of a fixed position and regular schedule if the collaboration works well.
References will be requested, and since the client is a minor, you must provide a criminal record extract if selected for the position. It is important that you request the extract that applies to work with children with disabilities. Order an extract here via the Police website.
