We are looking for an engaged and positive personal assistant for a fixed schedule position in Bjästa. You will be part of a great team of assistants, and the work is scheduled for night shifts. To thrive in this role, we see that you have a sense of humor, are resourceful and can take your own initiative while being responsive to the client's wishes and needs. As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in his daily life. The man you will help has MS and communicates via lip reading and computer. Your work tasks include everything from personal hygiene and care to household chores. A central part of the work is also to create a safe and positive environment where you help him participate in his activities and social contexts. If you have an interest in harness racing and dogs, you will have that in common. It is an advantage if you have experience using assistive devices such as floor lifts, PEG, catheters and nutritional drips, or are willing to learn this. Greatest emphasis will be placed on personal chemistry between you and the client. A driver's license and access to a car are a requirement, as public transportation to the workplace is limited. The Position We are looking for you who are interested in a scheduled night shift, but you who are also interested in working as a temporary substitute for day, evening, or night shifts are welcome to submit your application!
