Personal Assistant for a Teenager in Strömsnäsbruk - 75-80% Position

Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individualized support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help meeting one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's autonomy and integrity, and help ensure that daily life runs smoothly. About the Position The role of personal assistant requires strong interpersonal skills. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you enjoy an active job and like activities such as cycling and varied work tasks, as some time will be spent at school. The teenager lives in a house with her father, so it is important that you can collaborate well and truly enjoy making a difference in someone's life. You need to be a calm and grounded person and able to work in a low-affect manner. This is the first time we are recruiting for this teenager, which means we are thinking stably and long-term about building a completely new team. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria: wants to work with a teenage girl living in Strömsnäsbruk has strong Swedish language skills has experience with autism and intellectual disabilities is a non-smoker (during working hours) It is also a plus if you: have experience in similar work have a driver's license and access to a car can speak Bulgarian, Serbian, or Russian Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary: The current employment is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" at 75-80% employment level. Working hours are scheduled during day, evening, and weekends. Working hours are approximately as follows, and you work every other weekend: approximately 06:30-15:15 (single assistance at school) approximately 15:15-22:30 (double assistance at home) Start date: immediate or by agreement. Working at Humana A requirement for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. Under current legislation, we as an employer must request a criminal record check from all employees who will work as personal assistants to a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to provide an excerpt from the police criminal record and suspicion register before potential employment.
