About the Position Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely adapted based on the client's life, and therefore work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Our client is a 22-year-old boy who lives with his family in Tygelsjö and there is also a dog in the home. He is looking for an assistant who is comfortable talking and who can sign language interpret for him, and as his assistant you also need to interpret what he wants or wants to communicate since he does not have spoken language. The client's individual needs guide the workday and the work can include, for example, help with transfers, personal care, exercise and communication as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. In his free time, he enjoys activities such as exercise, swimming and being out in nature. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client. For this position, you must: have a B driver's license as you will drive the client's car as an assistant have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written have experience with autism and low-affect approach have good physical fitness be able to swim tolerate pets as there is a dog in the client's home be smoke-free (during work hours) For this position, it is beneficial if you: have previous experience working with people with OCD and people with vision impairment Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Degree, and Salary The current employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 80%, 60%, and 30%. Work shifts are scheduled during day and evening on weekdays and weekends. Work hours are varied and are 06:45-17:30 and 09:00-21:00. Double assistance 8 hours/day. Position 1: approximately 80% temporary - from 12/10 to 18/12. Position 2: approximately 60% Position 3: approximately 30% Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation in accordance with the collective agreement.
