About the Position Personal assistance is an intervention under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Certain Persons with Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and helps ensure that everyday life runs smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a 28-year-old man living in Lysekil. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and your work may include, for example, assistance with transfers, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities both at home and outside the home. He has a strong interest in music and enjoys watching recorded episodes of Melodifestivalen, among other things. He also enjoys cars and going on nice walks. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is calm, clear, and attentive. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client. For this position, you must have: Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good physical condition as transfers are involved Non-smoking (during work hours) For this position, it is a merit if you: Have previous experience working as a personal assistant or in a similar profession Have experience working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) Share the client's interests in music, cars, and walks Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary This is a temporary assignment at approximately 35% for the period 2026-08-17 to 2028-05-26. Working hours are arranged according to a 4-week rotating schedule with 24-hour shifts (11:00–11:00) consisting of 14 hours of active time and 5.83 hours of on-call per week: Week 1: Tuesday Week 2: Tuesday Week 3: Thursday Week 4: Off Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start Date and Orientation: The assignment starts on 2026-08-17. Orientation is required to learn routines and the client's communication method. So that you get the best possible start and have time to get to know the client, the routines, and the communication method in a calm manner, we would prefer the orientation to begin before the start date, with a desired start around August 3. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
