ELFA Assistans i Sverige AB provides personal assistance services and works with individuals with disabilities who want to live active and fulfilling lives. We are looking for a dedicated, calm, and attentive personal assistant for a 17-year-old boy with significant physical disabilities living in the area between Haninge and Huddinge. As a personal assistant, you will provide support in the client's daily life, both at home and during activities outside the home. Your responsibilities include personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, meal preparation, tube feeding, transfers, and assistive devices. You need to be confident, attentive, and flexible, and be able to adapt to the client's needs and daily condition. We would like you to: * Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written * Have experience working as a personal assistant or experience working with children and young people * At the client's request, we prefer that you are a woman between 25–50 years old Since the client is a minor, you will be required to provide a criminal background check excerpt if selected for the position. It is important that you order the background check that applies to working with children with disabilities through the Police website.
