We are now seeking an engaged, responsible, and attentive personal assistant for a 16-year-old boy with significant physical disabilities living in the area between Haninge and Huddinge.
As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in the client's daily life, helping with everyday activities both at home and during errands or leisure activities outside the home. Tasks include assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, meals and tube feeding, as well as transfers and use of various assistive devices. You work closely with the client and therefore need to be calm, attentive, and flexible with the ability to adapt to his needs and daily condition.
We would prefer that you:
* Are engaged and ambitious
* Are cheerful and positive
* Have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
* Have experience working as a personal assistant or experience working with children and young people
* At the client's request, we would prefer that you are a woman between 25–50 years old
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
References will be requested, and since the client is a minor, you must provide a certificate from the criminal record register if selected for the position. It is important that you order the certificate applicable for work with children with disabilities through the Police's website.
