Personal Assistant for Active Young Man in Luleå

We are looking for you to help create a safe and meaningful everyday life for an active 35-year-old man who participates in sports such as football, floorball, horseback riding, golf, bowling, and gym. He also enjoys sedentary activities such as relaxing in front of the TV, computer, or spending time with friends and family. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of his daily life and play a central role in creating security, structure, and freedom. You will be there as support in various everyday situations and help him live his life according to his own conditions. It is important that the interaction occurs on his terms and that he feels control, influence, and participation in his everyday life. Therefore, you need to be attentive, respectful, and able to adapt your approach to his needs. Together, you will create a daily life where his needs, wishes, and interests have a place. We need staff interested in working every other weekend and extra as needed, approximately 15 hours per week. Work hours: Weekdays: 12:00 - 07:30 Weekend shifts: 09:00 - 09:00 Work tasks: Varying, both at home and in the community Support with daily routines, including household chores as needed Support verbal communication, serve as an interpreter, as someone who understands and conveys to others what the customer wants to communicate. REQUIREMENTS Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written We also see that you have basic cooking skills, as home-cooked meals are important to the customer. MERITS Experience with autism The customer has his own apartment, and as an assistant, you have access to your own workspace/bedroom and bathroom. Regular meetings are part of the job. This position is particularly suitable for you if you are studying and want to combine work with studies. An extract from the criminal record is required—remember to request it in good time from the police authority.
