Our client needs to be picked up after school on weekdays at 1:00 PM. We are very flexible with the end time of shifts. On holidays and weekends, we prefer daytime work if possible. Available working hours are: Monday - Friday: 1 PM - 9 PM Weekends/Holidays: 7 AM - 9 PM Our client is a cheerful and energetic soon-to-be 15-year-old. His diagnoses are: Severe developmental disability, autism, and severe hyperactivity disorder. In other words, he needs significant support in daily life. As his personal assistant, you will, among other things: Assist with getting dressed/undressed and personal hygiene Provide support with daily chores and mealtimes Ensure he gets exercise and physical activity Help him with communication He really enjoys being outdoors and loves spending time in the forest and at various parks, throughout all seasons. At home, he enjoys watching movies, listening to music, baking, making beaded crafts, playing with toy cars, and building with Lego. Going swimming is also a big favorite activity! We are looking for someone who: Likes to play and have fun Is organized and consistent Is calm and attentive to his needs Ideally has a driver's license and experience with autism/ADHD For us, the most important thing is that the personal chemistry is right! Working hours: Monday-Friday 1 PM-9 PM, weekends and holidays 7 AM-9 PM Employment level: Number of hours and schedule to be agreed upon together. As long as the assistance assignment averages 30 hours/week, plus an hourly substitute as needed Start date: Immediately or by agreement Work with children with disabilities is subject to background check requirements under the Act (2010:479) on background checks for personnel performing certain services for children with disabilities.
