What the position involves Our client is a 35-year-old man who needs support and assistance around the clock. He lives in his own apartment in Jönköping and has an active daily life. Your workplace is wherever the client is, and your tasks include personal care, household chores, daily routines, and accompanying him to activities and day programs. Walks and gym sessions are activities that occur frequently during our client's weeks. Spending time with family and friends, exercising, or going to hockey games are also things he does regularly and that make him happy. Heavy lifting and transfers occur in this assignment, but assistive devices are available. What we require For you to get along well together, we see that you are loyal, thorough, and have the ability to take your own initiative. You like being active, social, and have a sparkle in your eye. It's an advantage if you're in good physical condition so you can keep up with various daily activities and the like. Previous experience as a personal assistant and experience with low-affect communication are merits. However, the greatest weight will be placed on personal compatibility and that you and the client enjoy each other's company. To be eligible for the position, you must have a driver's license and be a non-smoker. You must also be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Travel on weekends and during summers occurs occasionally, and therefore flexibility is something we're looking for.
