We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 19-year-old girl who lives in Djursholm, Danderyd. As an assistant to our 18-year-old daughter, who has extensive multiple disabilities and significant care needs, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your knowledge and experience in care, training and physiotherapy, communication, assistive devices, and more. Despite being dealt such difficult circumstances, she is usually content and happy with what she has. Your tasks include helping our daughter with everything in her daily life. For example, feeding, hygiene, training and physiotherapy, transfers using lifts and wheelchairs, and engaging in playful and fun activities together. The workplace is where our daughter spends her time, i.e., in our home, at school, and on outings with the family. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is Engaged, Considerate, Loving, Child-loving, Attentive, Thorough, and Responsible. As a person, you are initiative-taking and have a positive attitude toward working as a personal assistant. Most importantly, we value your personal qualities and your willingness to help people, especially children. We want you to be a non-smoker and to speak and write Swedish fluently. If you have experience in medical care, that is a merit. If you have previously worked with children in any capacity, that's great, but what we look at most is who you are as a person and how you can contribute. For your commute to be sustainable, it is an advantage if you live in Danderyd or in nearby municipalities and/or have a driver's license and access to a car. It is desirable that you see this job as long-term since you and our daughter need time together to get to know each other and build trust, which is a prerequisite for successful assistance. Of course, you will receive a safe and good introduction at home in Danderyd. Working hours and employment level: We are looking for an assistant who wants to work on a fixed schedule with an extent of 50-100% by agreement. We are also looking for someone who wants to work as a temporary substitute. Working hours are day and evening, Monday through Sunday. It is desirable that you are also flexible and can occasionally step in when needed, for example when another assistant is ill or on leave. Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement.
