In the role of personal assistant to our client, a 15-year-old boy with support needs due to various neuropsychiatric diagnoses including autism, ADHD and intellectual disability, you will create a safe foundation. An important part of the work is to stimulate and encourage the user to practice social interaction and communication. Your task is to enable participation in various leisure activities that create opportunities for learning, both at home and in outdoor activities.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children with disabilities. Previous experience or education as a childcare worker, leisure-time pedagogue or similar is desirable but the greatest emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We want you to have a positive attitude, ideally with a humorous and playful side that can create joy and motivation. Guidance from parents can be provided regularly based on needs and wishes.
The position is a temporary hourly role, as needed, with shifts that may occur at any time of day or night. During the night, working time mainly consists of on-call time (standby at the workplace).
It is desirable that you are able to start employment immediately.
