We are now seeking a personal assistant for a wonderful and active 13-year-old boy who lives in Bankeryd with his mother and siblings. Then this role might be perfect for you! About the Position Our client has a muscle disease and uses a wheelchair. He needs support and help in his daily life, but communicates independently and is always involved in his care. You will help with personal hygiene and medication, support with daily routines, accompany him on activities, and motivate and encourage our client to try new and fun things in his life. He loves playing on the computer, listening to music, going to Asecs, watching football, or cheering for HV71. He also enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time on social media. Going forward, more exercise will be incorporated into his daily life, so an interest in sports, fitness, and movement is a plus. School-related work may occur on weekdays. Who Are We Looking For? We believe the person applying is a young, positive, and engaged guy. You are someone who is confident and can be both clear and attentive. We see that you are a person who has a talent for motivating, creating joy, and making others feel secure. You also need to be flexible and skilled at adapting to the client's mood and needs. We place the greatest emphasis on personal fit and that you get along well together. Experience working with young people or as a personal assistant is desirable but not required. A driver's license is a requirement, as you will be driving the family's adapted car for activities and outings. Since lifting and transfers occur, good physical condition is an advantage.
