About the Position As an assistant, you are close support in daily life and have an active role in planning, suggesting, and driving activities together with the client. She appreciates energy and engagement – but needs help with structure, overview, and motivation to get started. Activities can range from outings, trips, snowmobile rides, swimming, and family gatherings to time at home with video games, shared interests, and films like Harry Potter. You are the one who helps create the framework and keep the day alive. The client also travels occasionally to spend time with her family, and as a personal assistant, you accompany her on these trips and provide reliable support during her stay. About the Job We are currently seeking a personal assistant for a fixed schedule position at 67.5%. You will work overnight shifts, an arrangement that many appreciate as it provides more cohesive days and longer continuous time off. The shifts include overnight on-call duties. Work tasks include, among other things: Support with personal hygiene and daily routines Household tasks and meal preparation Participation in daily activities, outings, trips, and social gatherings Help maintaining contact with loved ones You work closely with the client and need to be able to meet her with warmth, respect, and understanding. The position requires you to be both proactive and attentive – a dependable adult who also has the ability to meet a person who is younger in mind. We are Looking for Someone Who: Is attentive to the client's needs and interests, and wants to contribute to meaningful days Has genuine commitment to working with people Holds a driver's license as the client has access to her own car Has previous experience with epilepsy (merit, but not required) Has previous experience working with children (merit, but not required) We are primarily looking for female applicants for this position, but what matters most is that the personal chemistry is right.
