Personal Assistant Needed for Man in Burgsvik - Permanent Position!

We are now seeking a personal assistant who wants meaningful work and the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. The position involves assisting a man in his 70s living in Burgsvik. The man has his own carpentry workshop that he uses regularly. Perfect for you if you enjoy creating with your hands and are handy. The man uses a wheelchair, so transfers are part of the work. Assistive equipment is available at the workplace. Working hours are 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. You work alone except for specific occasions when the client needs to go on errands, doctor's appointments, and similar. During these times, two assistants work together. As a personal assistant, you provide individually tailored support to a person with disabilities in their daily life. The work is performed in the client's home and in other environments where the client spends time. Work tasks vary based on the client's needs and may include: Personal hygiene Meal preparation Transfers Exercise routines Outings and visits outside the home Helping in the man's workshop You will be hired as a temporary employee with hourly employment. There are opportunities to get a permanent schedule later if the personal chemistry feels right between you and the client. The available position is 67.5%. Qualifications We are looking for you if you: Preferably have experience working as a personal assistant Are responsible, attentive, and have a professional approach Respect the client's autonomy and are comfortable going with the flow Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Have strong physical condition and are not afraid of physical work and have some grit Have a driver's license and access to your own car Have the ability to work flexible hours Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and respect for the client's autonomy and personal integrity.
