I have personal assistance according to LSS (the Swedish Assistance Act) and your support will be an important part of creating structure and independence in my life. About Me I was born in Greece but have lived in Sweden for many years. Family is very important to me. In my daily life, I enjoy caring for my plants, reading, listening to music, and having calm conversations. I feel best when there is a respectful and secure atmosphere around me. I live with MS and my energy levels can vary from day to day. Therefore, it is important that you are attentive and can adjust the pace according to how I am feeling. I plan the support together with my assistants and want to be involved in decisions that affect my daily life. I appreciate humor and a positive approach to life! Work tasks may include: Assistance with personal hygiene, showering, skincare, and dressing/undressing Support during toilet visits Help with transfers between bed, chair, toilet, and wheelchair Support with medication according to healthcare instructions Assistance with stretching and exercise routines Household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and cooking Help with caring for my plants I appreciate assistants who arrive on time, follow routines, and treat me calmly and respectfully. It is important to me that you talk with me while working and give me time to do what I can manage myself. You will be working in my home, so it is important that you feel comfortable working closely and professionally in a personal environment. Who Are You? You are calm, responsible, and attentive. Experience with personal assistance is a merit but personal suitability is equally important. Given the nature of tasks involving personal hygiene, I prefer female applicants.
