About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a woman in her 60s living in Dalsjöfors. She needs help with everything in her daily life. This includes personal hygiene, meals, and transfers using a ceiling lift. The client spends her time at home and in her garden. Since the client speaks unclearly, great attentiveness and patience in communication are required. She is looking for someone who enjoys preparing good home cooking and who appreciates a calm and harmonious environment. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and takes responsibility. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. For this position, you must have: excellent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing (required for good communication as the client speaks unclearly) good cooking skills with a focus on home cooking not be sensitive, hypersensitive, or allergic to tobacco smoke and be comfortable helping the client with smoking outdoors For this position, it is a merit if you: have previous experience working as a personal assistant or similar care and support work have experience with personal hygiene and transfers (e.g., with ceiling lifts) Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment arrangement is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day and evening, both on weekdays and weekends. There are good opportunities to transition to a scheduled position. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date by agreement.
