At Nordin Assistans, we are now recruiting staff for one of our young clients. She lives with her parents and siblings. As a personal assistant, you will be an important part of the girl's daily life—both at home and during activities. This work involves comprehensive care and supervision responsibilities, where you as an assistant need to be present, attentive, and confident in your role. Work hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends as follows: Weekdays: 17:00 - 23:00 23:00 - 07:15 Weekends: 09:00 - 17:00 17:00 - 23:00 23:00 - 09:00 We are looking for someone who views this work as a long-term position and is willing to work at least 20 hours per week, seeing this as ongoing collaboration. Introduction can begin immediately by arrangement. ABOUT THE CLIENT You will be working with a 12-year-old girl who enjoys singing, playing, and swimming. She values security and presence around her. The client has extensive care needs. You need to have experience with intellectual disabilities, nutritional problems, visual field defects, and epilepsy. This means that as an assistant, you are responsible for both basic care and medical tasks. She needs help with: Personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals Transfers and medication administration Communication and social interaction Daily routines at home She uses assistive devices including a feeding tube and a walker. ARE YOU THE ONE WE'RE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for someone with experience working with children and who enjoys doing so. As a person, you are responsive, calm, secure, and responsible, and you feel comfortable with a task that involves extensive care and supervision responsibilities. Since the girl has significant care needs, you need to be thorough, attentive, and able to act confidently even in situations requiring quick decisions. Requirements Very good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written. Previous experience working as a personal assistant or other care experience. Meritorious experience Experience with epilepsy Experience with tube feeding (PEG) Experience working with children Non-smoker and drug-free.
