About the Assignment Our client is a man with a large social network who enjoys spending time with friends and family. He has previously been very active in sports, with interests in alpine skiing and tennis, and he still enjoys spending time outdoors in nature and traveling. The client uses a wheelchair and needs your help with personal hygiene, changing clothes, housework, and exercise routines. Transfers are done using assistive devices or a transfer board, which means the role requires you to be physically strong and confident in handling these practical tasks. There is a dog in the home that is an important part of daily life, and your work tasks include accompanying the client and the dog on walks. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. Since the client values his social life, we are looking for someone who is comfortable in social situations and who can provide support both at home and during activities out in the community. For this position, you must: Want to work for a 47-year-old man living on Lidingö. Be physically strong as heavy transfers occur. Have good knowledge of Swedish or English. Be comfortable with pets (a dog lives in the home). Be smoke-free during working hours For this position, it is advantageous if you: Have previous experience in care and support or personal assistance. Have experience handling catheters Have experience with wound care Are confident handling transfer equipment and transfer boards. Share the client's interest in nature, social interaction, and an active life. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment" which means work as needed with varying working hours during day, evening, and night (waiting time between 00:00-06:00). There will also be an opportunity to work on schedule three weeks during the summer, weeks 26, 27, and 28. Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start Date: By agreement.
