Personal Assistant Wanted for a Happy and Curious 13-Year-Old

We are looking for a personal assistant for a happy and curious 13-year-old boy. He lives with his family in a house in the countryside near animals and nature. He has an intellectual disability, no verbal communication, has epilepsy, and needs help and support with everything in his daily life. As a personal assistant, you will be an important part of the client's life and help with: - Daily routines - Personal hygiene - Social activities and leisure interests - Stimulating and engaging in communication - Supervision and management of epileptic seizures - Ensuring the client's well-being and safety We are looking for someone who - Has great patience and is interested in getting to know the client's unique signals, patterns, and expressions - Is comfortable working independently but can also actively include the client in daily life - Can work all hours of the day and night - Does not have allergies to pets - Has a driver's license and access to a car as it is required to get to the workplace The position is part-time, distributed across afternoon shifts and weekend shifts. Possibility for more hours during school breaks. Previous experience is not the most important thing as we place greater emphasis on the right personality and attitude. Rullarnas is locally anchored with offices in Torsby since 2004 and in Karlstad since 2014 but operates throughout Sweden. Approximately 65 people eligible for personal assistance have chosen Rullarnas as their service provider, and the organization has a total of approximately 350 employees. Since 2011, Rullarnas has held a license from IVO, the Inspectorate for Care and Health, to provide personal assistance. Rullarnas' goal is to give both clients and staff the best possible conditions to feel secure in their roles. Rullarnas' vision is to offer more clients personal assistance of high quality where the personal assistants' competence and development are highly prioritized. Rullarnas shall provide personal assistance in accordance with LSS intentions and be committed to delivering assistance of the highest quality while always respecting the client's wishes and the assistants' employment conditions.
