About the Position The client is a 12-year-old boy who lives every other week in Upplands-Väsby and every other week in Solna. The client is blind and cannot communicate through speech, he also has epilepsy and tube feeding. He needs help with everything in his daily life, such as personal hygiene and mobility assistance, accompanying him on activities, and help with meals. It is therefore of great importance that you as an assistant are very attentive to his needs and behaviors and can balance his daily activities. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. For this position, you must have: A willingness to work with a 12-year-old boy living in both Solna and Upplands-Väsby Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written Good physical condition to be able to perform heavier lifting Are completely non-smoking The ability to be attentive to unique needs and balance activities For this position, it is advantageous if you: Have previous experience with similar work Can take your own initiative to plan activities Have experience with tube feeding Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Degree: The current employment form is "For as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 10%. Working hours are scheduled for Wednesdays from 17:30-21:30. In addition to scheduled working hours, there are good opportunities to work extra if needed and it feels right. Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to the collective agreement. Start Date: By agreement.
