We at Access Assistans are seeking an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a man living in Umeå.
Our client lives an active life with studies, exercise, and social activities as important parts of his daily routine. He communicates using alternative communication aids, and as an assistant, you will play an important role in creating the conditions for an independent and meaningful everyday life.
Job Responsibilities
As a personal assistant, you will help the client with, among other things:
Getting dressed and undressed
Personal care and hygiene
Meals
Household chores and cleaning
Communication
Exercise and other activities
Work Hours and Position
Work hours are primarily scheduled as overnight shifts, corresponding to approximately 1–2 work shifts per week. On-call duties are included during nighttime hours.
The position encompasses an employment rate of 72%. When regular staff are absent, for example due to illness or leave, there is an opportunity to extend work hours by taking extra shifts.
Travel for Work
Since the client has family and friends in other locations, travel may occur as part of the work.
Start Date
The position is planned to start in week 35, or by agreement.
The recruitment process begins after the application deadline, when selection and interviews are conducted with relevant candidates.
