About the Position Personal assistance is a support service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and takes responsibility. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. For this position, you must: have good knowledge of Swedish be tolerant of pets, as there is a cat in the household be smoke-free during working hours For this position, it is advantageous if you: have experience working as a personal assistant or equivalent work have experience with respiratory aids such as oxygen and pulse oximetry have experience with pedagogical work with children have a B driver's license and access to your own car Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends. All time is awake care. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation in accordance with collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement.
