About the Position As a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that comes up in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). You will respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and help ensure that daily routines run smoothly. The client's individual needs will guide your workday, and your tasks may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities both at home and in the community. To thrive as a personal assistant, it's important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client. We are now seeking someone who meets the following: Wants to work with a 6-year-old girl living in Kalix Has good knowledge of Swedish Is comfortable with pets (a cat and dog live in the home) Is comfortable working in a school environment and collaborating with educators and parents Since this position involves work with children, a criminal background check extract is required Is smoke-free (during work hours) It is also advantageous if you: Have experience with similar work Have experience with tube feeding and autism Have experience working with children Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary: The current employment arrangement is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts." Before the position starts, you will undergo a paid introduction/onboarding period. During the onboarding period, you will have a contract for a fixed-term hourly position with a set end date." We are seeking someone interested in a position of approximately 80%. The position involves work during daytime, evening, and night hours on both weekdays and weekends. Shifts are scheduled 07:00–16:30 and 18:00–07:00, with standby time between 01:00–06:00. During school weeks, the client attends school Monday through Thursday from 08:00–12:00, and you will be present to support her during the school day. Fixed hourly pay according to agreement and other compensation in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Start date immediate or by agreement. The end date for the temporary position has not yet been determined. Working at Humana A requirement for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. According to legislation, we as an employer must request a criminal background check extract from all employees who will work as a personal assistant to a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to provide an extract from the police criminal record and suspicion register prior to any employment.
