About the job We are seeking a committed, responsible, and attentive personal assistant for a 25-year-old woman in Järfälla. She uses a wheelchair, is verbal, and can describe what support she needs herself. As a personal assistant, you will serve as her extended arm and help her live as independently and actively as possible based on her circumstances. Job duties include: - assistance with transfers and personal hygiene - general support and practical help in daily life - operating and pushing a manual wheelchair - accompanying and assisting with gym training - support in connection with activities and errands - support with future studies, for example with note-taking and practical tasks The work is periodically physically demanding. You therefore need to have good physical capacity and be able to assist with transfers as well as operate and push a wheelchair both indoors and outdoors. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is confident, responsible, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You need to be able to work independently while being attentive to the user's wishes, autonomy, and integrity. Experience as a personal assistant, in care and support services, or working with people with disabilities is advantageous. Since the user is planning to start studying, it is also advantageous if you are pedagogical, organized, and can help with note-taking and other practical support in study situations. We are looking for someone who: - has good physical capacity - can express yourself well and understand Swedish - is a non-smoker - is responsible and punctual - is comfortable with active work that includes gym training, transfers, and wheelchair operation - is attentive and respects the user's autonomy and integrity Due to the privacy-sensitive nature of the work, the user prefers female applicants. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and personal chemistry. About the employment The position is 75%, approximately 30 hours per week, with working hours mainly weekdays from 09.00-15.00.
