Personal Assistant Needed – Summer Substitutes with Opportunity for Permanent Position

I am seeking vacation substitutes for the summer as well as hourly substitutes who can step in during illness and other absences. For the right person, there is also an opportunity for a permanent scheduled position of approximately 80 hours per month. I am a 59-year-old man living in Enskede with my cat. I am a single father and an author, which means writing is an important part of my daily life. I also enjoy walks, swimming, literature, art, and maintaining my allotment garden. I have cerebral palsy that affects my speech and mobility. As my personal assistant, you are my hands and feet, while respecting that I lead my own life and make my own decisions. Your most important task is to provide support without taking over. About You I am looking for someone who: speaks and understands Swedish fluently has good social skills and communicates thoughtfully is personally mature and has work experience is compliant, empathetic, and adaptable to different situations can switch between being active when needed and staying in the background when appropriate understands that personal assistance is a service profession where my independence is always central. It is a plus if you have an interest in psychology, literature, or art. Duties The work includes: personal care, hygiene, and dressing/undressing assistance with meals (I receive most of my nutrition via PEG) household tasks walks, swimming, and other activities help with my allotment garden support in my daily life so I can live the life I choose. Work Hours Work is scheduled and includes day, evening, and night shifts (on-call) as well as weekends. Other Information I am my own manager and employer, which means we have close daily communication. You will receive thorough training and start as an hourly employee. For the right person, there is a good opportunity for a permanent position. Requirements: Fluent Swedish in speech and good reading comprehension. Swimming proficiency.
