Personal Assistant Wanted in Norrtälje

We are looking for you to take on an important role – to be a personal assistant for a man in his 70s who lives with a spinal cord injury, uses a wheelchair, and lives in Norrtälje. Sports and woodworking are major interests, as well as cooking and crafts, home decoration, and plants in his home. This is a role where presence, attentiveness, and responsibility are crucial. You will work closely with him and tailor your support based on his needs, daily form, and wishes. As a personal assistant, you will become part of a small circle around him, where continuity and trust are in focus. Your contribution enables him to live his life on his own terms and maintain as much independence as possible. The work includes everything from care, personal hygiene, transfers, use of various assistive devices, help with activities, etc. The workplace is in his home and wherever he may be. Working hours are scheduled for both daytime and evening, as well as one weekend per month. We would appreciate it if you could also work with short notice when needed, due to illness, etc. Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific user, it is therefore important to have good work ethics where everyone supports each other and can work with short notice when needed due to illness, etc. You need to be available during the summer and holiday periods.
