Personal Assistant (50%) for 11-Year-Old Girl in Linköping

Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your work tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly. About the Position The role of personal assistant requires strong abilities to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, dedicated, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. We particularly welcome female applicants for this position, but greatest weight will be placed on personal suitability. We are now looking for you who meets the following requirements: • want to work for an 11-year-old girl living in Linköping • have good knowledge of Swedish • have previous experience in care work • have experience with epilepsy • have no pets in your own household (due to allergies in the client's household) • are a non-smoker (during working hours) • can provide a clean criminal record check (both conviction and suspicion registers) It is also advantageous if you: • share the client's interests • have previously worked as a personal assistant Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with an employment level of approximately 50%. Working hours are 1:30 PM–8:00 PM on certain weekdays and 9:00 AM–6:00 PM every other weekend. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date is immediate or by agreement. Working at Humana A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. According to legislation, we as an employer must request a criminal record check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for children under 18 years of age. Therefore, you must provide an extract from the police's conviction and suspicion registers before a possible employment.
