Personal Assistant Full-Time – Daytime Monday to Friday

Unique opportunity for you with experience as a personal assistant! Full-time position with a social man, fixed daytime schedule Monday–Friday with secure employment and meaningful tasks. We are now seeking a personal assistant to work with one of our clients, an adult man with significant physical disabilities. As an assistant, your role will include helping our client with all aspects of daily life. We are therefore looking for a personal assistant who has experience in helping with the most intimate personal care, with great respect and humility. You should also be attentive and have the ability to read body language and subtle signals, as the client has no verbal speech but is social and wants to be able to communicate with those around him. You will primarily assist the client in his home, which he shares with his family consisting of parents and siblings, which places particular demands on your professionalism. To be suited for this position, you need to be calm, attentive, proactive, and punctual. You should be in good physical condition as heavier lifting may occur, and you should feel comfortable taking independent responsibility and working autonomously. For outings and activities outside the home, our client uses his own car, so a driver's license is a requirement for the position. In finding the right person, great weight will be placed on personal suitability, and previous experience with similar work will be an advantage. The family is based outside Eskilstuna, which requires that you have access to a car as public transportation is not available. They have a strong interest in animals, so you should not be allergic or have any issues being around animals. The position is a full-time role. Working hours are primarily scheduled for daytime, but it would be an advantage if you can be flexible when needed and occasionally have the ability to work extra, for example, during a colleague's absence.
