Personal assistant for an active 17-year-old boy About the position: We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 17-year-old boy living in Borås. He is a social, humorous, and energetic young person who enjoys being active and has many different interests. He has a great need for clarity, structure, and routines as he has autism, ADHD, and intellectual disability. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, working out, playing instruments, bowling, crafts, playing games, listening to music, dancing, and more. He appreciates both fast-paced activities and quieter moments, and feels best when everyday life is clear, structured, and predictable. As an assistant, you will be an important support in his daily life. You will help with planning, structure, motivation, and guidance in various situations. The work also includes support with meals, personal care, activities, and social settings. You need to be able to adapt your support based on his mood and situation while contributing to a safe, positive, and developmental environment. Who we are looking for We are immediately seeking assistants for the following positions: These are two positions where both involve working every other weekend without fixed weekday shifts. These positions are therefore ideal for you if you are studying, have another job, or are looking for part-time work alongside other activities. Position 1 Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM–3:00 PM every other weekend Position 2 A rotating weekend schedule where you work every other weekend: Weekend 1 - Saturday 3:00 PM–9:00 AM Weekend 2 - Friday 3:00 PM–9:00 AM and Sunday 3:00 PM–9:00 AM (3 shifts in 4 weeks) Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who: - Is a man or woman over 35 years old - Is clear, pedagogical, and has great patience - Has an interest in activities and enjoys being active - Can create structure and help plan the day - Has the ability to read situations and adapt your support as needed - Has good Swedish in speech and writing It is a merit if you have experience working in personal assistance, NPF diagnoses, or working with young people. It also means having meaningful work where you help another person with things in everyday life that many take for granted. This can be, for example, getting dressed, cooking, taking a walk, or other things that are primary for everyday life to function at all.
