We are now seeking a personal assistant for a cheerful young woman who lives independently in an apartment in Malmö. She has cerebral palsy, developmental disabilities, epilepsy, and uses a wheelchair, and therefore needs help with virtually everything in daily life. The client communicates through her eyes, facial expressions, and other body language, and always tries to be as clear as possible about what she wants and doesn't want. The client's favorite activities are primarily music, swimming, and nature. She loves taking walks with her assistant in all types of weather. The client is looking for you—a positive, female assistant who is calm and confident with good social skills, and who both wants and is able to help her with everything that is part of your job as an assistant. Experience with personal assistance and epilepsy is a plus, but inner confidence for working independently and personal chemistry with the client are of great importance. You must be a non-smoker. What we are looking for is an hourly substitute who can step in and work as needed. The schedule includes day/evening shifts and overnight waking shifts. Company Information Sydassistans AB has, since its founding in 1994, provided personal assistance to people with disabilities in southern Sweden. One of our roles as an assistance provider is to be the employer of our clients' personal assistants. We work to ensure that our clients, despite a disability, can live as good and rich a life as possible. Currently, we employ approximately 350 personal assistants.
