The Social Services Department is responsible for services, support, and assistance to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Care Act, and we must implement services regulated by these laws. All operations are centered on the individual to meet their needs. The mission involves strong customer focus and service mindset. LSS and Social Psychiatry Services Provider with over 350 permanent employees is a service provider for children, youth, and adults. We are governed by LSS, SoL, and HSL and have responsibility for implementing services regulated by these laws. The operations are characterized by putting the individual at the center and collaborating to meet individual needs. The service has a strong customer focus, excellent service spirit, and provides conditions for boundary-crossing work that is both inspiring and professionally developing. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS We are looking for a responsible and committed employee who wants to provide individually adapted assistance to a service user in daily life. The role involves providing support in all activities of daily living (ADL) and contributing to a safe, structured, and meaningful everyday life. Working hours are arranged as 24-hour shifts, meaning you work continuous shifts with on-call/rest time according to the applicable schedule. Job responsibilities The role includes providing the service user with comprehensive support, as the user needs help with everything in their daily living. • Provide support with personal care and hygiene. • Assist with meal preparation, shopping, laundry, cleaning, and other household tasks. • Motivate and support the user in daily activities and occupations. • Actively work to create and maintain clear structure and predictability in everyday life. • Use pedagogical and motivational approaches based on the user's individual needs. • Collaborate with others around the user to ensure safe and quality support. We are looking for someone who • Is self-driven, takes initiative, and takes responsibility. • Has good collaboration skills and can also work independently. • Is flexible and can adapt your approach based on the user's condition and needs. • Has work and life experience and demonstrates a calm, reassuring, and respectful demeanor. • Has extensive knowledge of autism and understanding of how the diagnosis affects daily life. • Has experience with or knowledge of pedagogical and motivational approaches, such as low-arousal interaction, clarifying pedagogy, or other individually adapted methods. • Understands the importance of structure, predictability, and continuity to create safety and participation.
