Unfortunately, one of our skilled assistants is leaving and we need to strengthen our team. The position is with a cheerful and active man in Eksjö who receives assistance around the clock. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of good cooperation with the customer, colleagues, and us as the assistance provider. We are looking for someone who wants to become a reliable and valued assistant and colleague. We work according to daily routines and documentation. The daily work consists of supporting the customer in tasks they cannot do themselves. As an assistant, you need to help with basic needs such as feeding, dressing and undressing, communication, and personal hygiene. The work also includes accompanying the customer on various activities such as daily programs, as well as activities the customer wishes to do. We offer pleasant colleagues and a customer who truly appreciates their assistants. By working with the customer, you get varied and stimulating work, but the job is also responsible and it is important that routines are followed. Being able to set boundaries is a requirement. We prefer assistants here to have a positive and easy-going attitude. A positive and resourceful problem-solver who sees solutions instead of problems – that is what we need! The Assistant's Role and Experience As a person, you need to be thorough, responsible, attentive, proactive, and positive. You will receive individualized introduction/training in all aspects of the customer's support needs and routines. You need to be flexible regarding working hours because our team solves staffing when someone becomes ill – we support our customer and each other. You should not be allergic to pets as there is a dog in the home. Desirable Experience Experience from work in care/health services. Swedish in speech and writing. Knowledge of sign language or desire to learn. Driver's license (category B). Good swimming skills. Working Hours/Employment Level Fixed scheduled, approximately 30 h/week. One weekend per month. Extra as needed when regular assistant is absent due to illness and vacation. About Salary We apply salary according to Fremia. Collective agreement.
