Right now we're looking for you to work with a friendly guy who is 25 years old, living in Östersund (ref 30-26 which you should mention in your application so we know this is the assignment you're looking for)
Your tasks are to help with what he says he needs help with, which can include personal care, certain transfers, and chores/activities both at home in his apartment and out in the community. The guy likes computers, music, movies, his car (which staff with a driver's license can drive), video games, and going to the gym, but he's also open to new suggestions for things to do. He's a night/evening person and grumpy in the mornings, so it's an advantage if you are too! He has a cat 🐈 so you can't be allergic. If you have a dog 🐕 it can come with you to work - if you think it can get along with a cat, that is 😃
Work hours 📅 🕰️ are 6 days/month (3pm to 3pm the next day with on-call sleeping shifts) plus 3 day shifts where you sometimes work together with a colleague.
It's good if you have previous experience with disabilities, personal care, and assistive devices - but it's not required since you learn these things quite quickly. The most important thing is that you get along with each other. Start date by agreement.
IMPORTANT: You MUST be able to speak, write, and read Swedish fluently without any problems!

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE MEDIATION has existed since 1996 and is therefore Jämtland's oldest assistance company! Our office is at Folkets Hus/OSD, Krondikesvägen 93 (back side toward the trotting track) in Östersund. We are licensed by IVO (the National Board of Health and Welfare) to conduct assistance activities as well as home care services, and we naturally have a collective agreement (Fremia/Kommunal) for all our staff.
