What can we offer you? We are seeking a personal assistant for a school-age child with significant care needs. The child lives with their family in Falköping Municipality, and a driver's license is required. As a personal assistant, you will have the opportunity to be involved in creating a meaningful, enjoyable, and safe daily life for the child. In your role, you will assist with tasks the child cannot manage independently and participate in rehabilitation and training. Some medical-technical equipment is used. The work is primarily based in the home and at school, with occasional outings outside the home with the family. We are currently seeking an assistant for daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Work shifts are scheduled sometime between 06:45 and 22:00, and you typically work in pairs. The scheduled service level is approximately 77%, but upon employment, there is an opportunity to work 100%. What are we looking for in you? First and foremost, we seek someone with training as a nurse's aide or childcare provider, but formal training is not required. You should be independent, thorough, while maintaining a child-centered approach and the ability to meet the child's needs. We prefer candidates with previous experience working with children. Personal suitability will be given significant weight.
