About the Role and Your Responsibilities
We are seeking pedagogical coordinators for our group and service residences within LSS where you will work closely with unit managers to advance pedagogical work.
We are looking for someone driven by inspiring and motivating our service users and staff in user-focused work. You recognize the abilities our service users possess to develop the right support and help, and provide our service users with opportunities for participation and self-determination.
To succeed in this role, you have strong leadership skills, are curious, and listen carefully to both staff and service users in daily work. You stay ahead of the curve and have a long-term perspective while remaining flexible in working with different teams.
The role includes, on behalf of the unit manager:
Responsibility for developing pedagogy and methodology
Ensuring and supervising the operation's work with communication support
Documentation and follow-up
Supervision and follow-up in work with social documentation and implementation plans
Training staff in user-focused work as well as at service user meetings and team meetings.
You will be part of a network with other pedagogical coordinators within Residential LSS. The role also includes collaboration with Region Skåne and other authorities, giving you the opportunity to work in a broad and significant arena.
Work is primarily conducted Monday-Friday. Since operations run 24/7, evening and weekend work may occasionally need to be scheduled from a pedagogical perspective, but not on Sundays or public holidays.
About Us
The operational area consists of 22 unit managers responsible for 2-3 units each. There is one pedagogical coordinator within each managerial area. The work team also includes support pedagogues and support assistants.
We have both service and group residences where service users have varying support needs such as care, psychiatry, substance abuse support, etc.
Our residences are located throughout Lund's urban area and in surrounding villages. One of the positions will be located in Södra Sandby.
Qualifications
University degree, 180 credits, preferably with a behavioral science/pedagogical focus or equivalent higher education that we consider equivalent.
Experience working within LSS and experience working with autism and ID.
Good knowledge and experience with structured teaching/TEACCH.
Good knowledge and experience with low-stress handling.
Able to express yourself well orally and in writing in Swedish.
Good knowledge of common documentation tools.
Basic skills in digital work tools.
