Our commitment, drive, and professional approach help us reach our goals and be the good and recognized supplier we aspire to be. Arcus builds bridges for a better society – for everyone! Background The Swedish Employment Agency is tasked with strengthening employment and contributing to more companies being started and developed across the country. Growing entrepreneurship contributes both to individuals achieving self-sufficiency and to the creation of new job opportunities. There are job seekers who intend to start their own business but lack sufficient knowledge in areas such as business economics, law, marketing, business planning, and digital competence. The procured training is designed to reduce these knowledge gaps and thereby contribute to increased employment and more jobs by facilitating opportunities for more people. Training for Starting a Business The training is a preparatory education course for starting a business and is conducted on behalf of the Swedish Employment Agency. The training should provide participants with basic knowledge about entrepreneurship in Sweden and support in developing and formulating a business plan. Upon completing the training, the participant should have created a complete business plan and have a clear understanding of what it means to start and run a business. Course length: 35 days per participant group. Groups of 15 participants start nationally on a continuous basis with set start dates distributed across four delivery regions covering all of Sweden. The training is delivered remotely by teachers and educators. Formal Qualifications As a pedagogical resource, your task is to support participants so they are given the conditions to achieve the training's goals. The support should be tailored individually based on participants' needs and circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, support with: • insufficient knowledge of the Swedish language • limited study experience • need for support in study techniques • physical or mental disabilities The pedagogical resource should complement the teacher's instruction. The pedagogical resource must have: • At least one (1) year of full-time work experience in pedagogical work with adults or young adults (16–25 years) within the past 6 years. • At least 60 higher education credits (or one year of full-time post-secondary studies) in pedagogy. • Adequate education or work experience in the subject area of at least 1 year. The person should also have a strong interest in supporting participants and find satisfaction in seeing others develop.
