Lendahlsskolan is a municipal K–6 school with approximately 240 students, located in central Alingsås. The school is housed in a charming building from 1907 and is located near the library, cultural center, and the outdoor area Nolhagaparken.
We actively work with IBIS to promote inclusion, safety, and student participation. Together we create good relationships between students and between students and adults. Our work is based on the curriculum and the school law's rights perspective, with the goal of offering all students a safe, stimulating, and creative learning environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a pedagog in the after-school care, you are responsible together with your colleagues for planning, implementing, following up, and developing instruction based on the curriculum's goals. You work both during the school day and in the after-school care.
Your job responsibilities include:
• plan and implement varied and meaningful activities in the after-school care; plan and lead organized recess activities
• create activities that promote movement, creativity, cooperation, and social development
• contribute to all students feeling safe, included, and involved
• support students in their learning and social development during the school day
• prevent conflicts and help students develop good relationships
• collaborate with teachers, other staff, and guardians
• actively participate in the after-school care's and school's systematic quality work
• contribute to the school's joint work with IBIS and shared approaches
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• education with a pedagogical focus
• experience working in after-school care, school, or other pedagogical activities
• experience planning and leading activities for children of different ages
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish orally and in writing
It is meritorious if you have experience planning and conducting organized recess activities as well as activities that promote movement, participation, and community.
As a person, you are confident, committed, flexible, and solution-focused. You have clear pedagogical leadership and the ability to adapt activities based on students' different needs and conditions. With an inclusive approach and good collaboration skills, you create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You share the school's values and work to ensure that each student feels safety, participation, and the opportunity to develop.
