Kuldīga Municipal Government, reg. no. 90000035590, announces a competition for a vacant Chef position at Viduskurzeme Primary School–Development Center, on a fixed-term basis. Main job responsibilities: - Assess the quality of food products, perform their primary processing, prepare and present dishes in accordance with the educational institution's requirements, healthy food standards, and portion size regulations; - Know the characteristics of various diets and their respective products; - Work with the institution's equipment, observing hygiene, sanitary, and occupational health and safety regulations; - Take responsibility for the quality of your work; - Comply with product storage regulations; - Prepare dishes in accordance with the technological process; - Observe the temperature, duration, and other conditions for serving and storing prepared meals, and other job duties related to the profession. Requirements for candidates: - Professional secondary education or higher education appropriate to the job responsibilities, work experience of at least 2 years, as well as professional development in accordance with regulatory acts on professional development (if applicable); - Sense of responsibility, ability to work accurately and efficiently, ability to cooperate, communication skills; - Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Knowledge of basic emergency assistance and first aid procedures; - State language proficiency at the level established by regulatory acts.
