Requirements:
• Compliance with the requirements of Section 21, Part 1 of the Law "On Police";
• Higher education (starting with first-level professional higher education);
• Excellent Latvian language skills (C1 level);
• Category B driver's license (minimum 3 years of experience);
• Small recreational vessel operation rights;
• Knowledge of legal norm application and process development;
• Knowledge and practical skills in police tactics, use of special equipment, firearms handling, and hand-to-hand combat;
• Good physical fitness, stress resilience, and health status appropriate for the position;
• High sense of responsibility, good communication skills, correctness, discipline, honesty, and ability to resolve conflict situations; ability to work in a team and make independent decisions;
• Good computer skills;
• At least 3 years of experience working in law enforcement institutions, the State Fire and Rescue Service, or Emergency Medical Services.
Main Duties of the Position:
• Plan, lead, organize, control, and be responsible for the work of on-duty personnel;
• Ensure timely and high-quality execution of established objectives and tasks;
• Monitor public order and safety in Jūrmala's administrative territory;
• Prevention of law violations;
• Conduct administrative offense procedures within the scope of competence.
